New version 24 ensures great CAD&BIM performance and compatibility with Revit®

The new version enhances the 3D BIM Architectural composition process within an upgraded environment-interface with high ergonomics and functionality, featuring numerous new tools and unrivaled design performance compared to the previous version IDEA19.

Regarding its interface, IDEA is characterized by a renewed autocad-like environment capable to display ribbon and menubar simultaneously, faster read/write & open/save file functionalities, faster display engine, significantly higher performance when managing the 3D BIM model, enhanced dialogs for the AutoREG, AutoBLD and PhotoIDEA components and others. Regarding particularly the architectural composition component (AutoBLD), new dialogs have been introduced in order to generate openings of any type and shape (Smart Opening Generator), to create and edit Curtain Walls, to create Multiple Openings (horizontal and vertical repetitions of an opening selected through the program library), to place Louvers and other smart objects.

Among its most impressive new features, IDEA24 reads/opens Revit® files (rvt format) to ensure an open communication with the most widespread BIM files.
