IDEA Architecture: New version 24 now more powerful than ever

After being re-engineered (ReD) upon the latest ICAD engine and ODA libraries on a 64bit architecture, the new version 24 enables significantly faster performance, even for very large drawings. Even more important is the fact that the new IDEA24 version is characterized by 100% compatibility with Revit®, which makes IDEA Architecture a Revit-like program at just a fraction of the price, thus changing the game.

Regarding the improvements having to do with the new construction objects and related features, the new version includes among others the following features as well:

• Auxiliary tools (visual coordinates etc) when drawing walls

• New intelligent generator of openings (windows, doors, etc)

• Ability to define louvers outside windows/openings

• Creation and modification of curtain walls

• Ramps with guardrails and other such options to enrich building objects in general

As for the improvements regarding the 3D model supervision, among others the new version includes also the following features:

• Tool palette

• Home view or using the rotation arrows using the view cube

• “Match Properties” command to copy properties from one object to another

• Search functions for library objects

• Many other improvements, such as import-editing of tables and publication styles, projection and orbit of the 3D rotating cube, new visualized ribbon tab, 3D Walk-Fly tour etc.
