IS Muri is the software dedicated to the finite element analysis, according to Eurocodes and NTC (Italy) standards, of constant or variable section retaining walls, with buttresses, spades, piles and tie rods.

IS Muri carries out checks on overturning stability, rolling stability, bearing capacity and overall stability; the method used to calculate the thrusts is the 'wedge balance' or Culmann method.

 

The results are all viewable and searchable and can also be displayed on the main software screen. These results concern pressures, normal force, moment, shear forces on the wall and footing, hydraulic pressures and geotechnical checks. IS Muri performs the buckling and shear checks on the piles. A viewer allows you to see the wall, the reinforcement, the piles and any tie rods inserted in 3D.
